There's Still Time To Donate!
Today, we hosted a dress down day in support of Show Racism the Red Card, the UK's leading anti-racism educational charity. Pupils were invited to wear something red to show their support and bring a small donation (recommended amount of £1 or more please) to support this important cause. If you haven't been able to make your donation yet, you are still able to donate on Scopay via Products - please enter the quantity and then the amount you would like to donate.
As well as today, this term, we will also be celebrating diversity through exciting workshops led by the charity, engaging art activities exploring the theme of inclusion and staff and parent workshops, which your kind donations will go towards making possible. It's a wonderful opportunity to come together and promote kindness, equality and respect in our community. Thank you for your support and generosity!

Little Princess Trust
One of our pupils, Bryony, has decided to cut off her long, beautiful red hair to donate to The Little Princess Trust, an incredible charity that provides wigs to children suffering from hair loss due to illness. She wanted to make a difference, not only by donating her hair but also by raising money to help fund the cost of creating and fitting the wig, which is £700.
Bryony had her hair cut on Wednesday, 5th February, and we as school couldn’t be prouder of her selfless generosity and kindness. What a wonderful way to help a child in need!

Eco News
We have a brand new compost bin at school, the children are thrilled to be part of this eco-friendly initiative, learning about recycling, reducing waste and helping to take care of our planet. It's a wonderful opportunity for them to develop important environmental habits while contributing to sustainability efforts right here at school.
Please find below two short videos about composting waste.

Year 1 Walk
This week, Year 1 went exploring around Knutsford to learn more about their local area. During their walk, they were able to spot landmarks such as St John's Church, Gaskell's Memorial Tower, The River Lily and Knutsford Train Station. They enjoyed spending their breaktime at the Moor, trying to spot the different types of birds, and finished off the trip with a wonderful visit to Knutsford Olde Sweet Shoppe!

Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday Tamara and Eddison, thank you for the lovely books.
