A Spectacular Colour Run Success!
What an incredible time we had at last Friday’s Colour Run! The children had a blast as they raced, climbed and navigated their way around the trim trail obstacles - all while being showered in vibrant bursts of colour. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces and so much energy and enthusiasm on display.
Now that the dust (and the colour!) has settled, the school grounds are returning to their usual shade and a sense of calm has resumed. But the memories of the fun and laughter will last much longer!
A huge thank you goes to our amazing Year 3 parents, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to organise and run such a fun, safe and engaging event. We are also incredibly grateful to all our families who supported the Colour Run by gathering sponsorships. Thanks to your generosity and effort, we have raised an outstanding £2,957 on our GoFundMe page towards the renovation of our astroturf, and that doesn't even include our Sponsorship money! This total has far exceeded our original target of £2,000, and we are so thankful for your continued support. Every penny will help us move closer to providing the very best facilities for our children. Watch this space for news on the final amount raised.

5RV Charity Cake Sale
Thank you so much for your support of the charity cake sale yesterday organised by 5RV, which raised an amazing £357. The children of 5RV thoroughly enjoyed setting up the stall and serving the customers and did a wonderful job. Thank you too for all of the delicious cakes and bakes contributions.
Eco News
Did you know by not mowing a tiny section of the lawn to grow wild, encourages butterflies to your garden?
They love a bright sunny sheltered spot and feed on nectar rich plants including bluebells, lavender, and cornflowers. Caterpillars particularly enjoy feeding off nettles, ivy, and herbs such as rosemary, sage, and mint. Which butterflies will you spot in your garden? Please click on the link to find more information about butterflies.

Musician of the month
The musician of the month for March is Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The children have learned about him in assembly and enjoyed listening to his music. Attached is the home information sheet so that you can enjoy his music together too.
Year 6 Music
Last week, Wilf, Jack, and Charlie wowed us with their impressive musical talents. It was a joy to listen to, and the boys truly enjoyed performing for us.

Year 6 Science
Year 6 had an unforgettable experience dissecting pig hearts. It was incredible to explore the four chambers — the right atrium, right ventricle, left atrium, and left ventricle — and truly fascinating to see the heartstrings!

Sports News
Bexton took part in a thrilling sports event at Knutsford Academy last Thursday, competing against two other schools. They showcased their skills in nerf throw, the 600m race, long jump, and the 75m sprint.
In true Bexton spirit, when Charlie tripped at the start of his race, he demonstrated incredible resilience and determination, bouncing back to claim an impressive second place! Overall, the children did us proud and came first with gold medals too!

Girls' Football
On Tuesday, our girls' football team welcomed Mobberley for the second league match of the season. We're delighted to say that the team won 3-1 against a tough opponent. The composure was excellent, just as we saw in the first game, and the level of support and skill among the team was brilliant. They represented our school wonderfully. It was great to see so many of their families supporting from the sidelines, which we are very grateful for. We're really looking forward to continuing after Easter!

Happy Birthday!
Happy birthday Lottie, thank you, for your lovely book.
