Dawn2Dusk Club (Wraparound care & Holiday Club)
Welcome to Dawn2Dusk - Bexton primary school and Nursery Wrap Around Care!
We provide before and after school care for children who attend both Bexton Nursery and Bexton Primary School. This care is linked to the school and is managed by the governors of Bexton Primary School. Places are limited as this service is staffed by Bexton school staff and also limited to numbers depending on ratios. Our OFSTED registration number is 147133. During club hours, staff can be reached on 01565 632816 Ext 3. We aim to provide children with both fun and exciting activities whilst they are with us. Currently, the club is based within the main school, operating mainly from the school hall. This is a temporary measure whilst we wait for our new all-purpose building to be built.
Available resources
Painting, collage, printing, modelling clay, model making, television, video, construction toys, puzzles, board games, computers, cooking, books, music and story tapes, ball games, hoops, ropes, rackets, climbing frame, swing, carts.
Hours of opening
The Breakfast Club is open from 8am Monday to Friday. The After School Club is open from 3.15pm to 6pm.
Food
Our Dawn2Dusk club prides itself on having a wide breakfast choice which is available until 8:30 and cooking a substantial meal for children who stay after 4.30pm which helps working families who may not have time to prepare a full meal after a long shift at work. Keeping us informed
Please email dawn2dusk@bexton.cheshire.sch.uk to ensure that the club staff are advised of any changes in your contact details or medication and health issues. We can obtain information from the school office; however, we keep our own files for out of hours use when the school office is closed so it is much better to always inform us by using this email address.?
Collections
Parents should collect their children promptly at the end of after school club sessions. If someone other than a parent is to collect your child, please inform the club staff by emailing dawn2dusk@bexton.cheshire.sch.uk. All children must be signed out of the club by the adult collecting them at the time of collection. Late collections will incur a charge.
Fees
Breakfast Club is charged at £4.50. After school £13. ?Fees must be paid in full, by the end of every half term and parents will be invoiced half termly, usually at the start of a term. Should your child be absent for a pre-booked session, full fees will be charged.
Bexton After School Club accepts payments via SCOPay and childcare vouchers. If you have any queries regarding payment of fees, please speak to our Dawn2Dusk Manager Miss Jackson or Mrs Wright or email dawn2dusk@bexton.cheshire.sch.uk. One month's notice is required to terminate an after school, or breakfast club place.
Holiday Club
We offer a holiday club for children who attend Bexton Primary School and Nursery which runs during each of the school holidays apart from Christmas.? We will always email parents directly towards the end of term to determine the need for the sevice. This email will also detail exactly how to book and lay out the charges for each session. As our school kitchen will remain closed during our holiday periods, children will always need to bring a packed lunch to Holiday Club. As each club is run by school staff and dependent on the number and age of chlidren attending, each club is run as a separate entity and assessed each term.
